Do not apply to ads by Sovereign Executive Search Ltd.
I last wrote about this a while back, but these types are back, posting the same ads for the below companies a few years ago. Literally the same words, getting contractor hopes up in a very tough market. I applied to one last week, knowing it was these guys again to collate their usual antics and yup, received the textbook same response back in seconds with "shortlisting next week send me a few bullets on your expectations". Then, a week later, "amazing profile, sending to client BUT, you need to use a CV service to fix up as not comfortable sending CV like this", and ..what a surprise, they are promoting exactly the same £500 CV service in the other scam ads by below players. Wont do it justice to print here. Its is obviously a group who register LTD's posing as recruiters, post ads, then respond to people promoting CV services. Previous names:
-Client Confidential Executive Services,
-Orbis Executive Search
- Alexander Recruitment
- QBE Recruitment
Worse, go to Companies House and see that Sovereign Exec Ltd was wound up in Dec last year (2023) via compulsory strike off and yet the LTD Co is being used to advertise with and in email footers to job responders. All of the above companies and Sovereign share directors who are all in the same narrow birth years 1969-1974. It's obviously a 'clique' who are running this CV promotion via job ads.
I have forwarded to a few Gov agencies to report these guys both for misleading and potential fraud and for continuing to adverrtise/trade using dissolved /struck off company. Sovereign still has ads on Linked in and CV Library and Contractor Jobs. Don't fall for it. I kept their original ads and bang...the same 'lucrative' £500-900 + bonus etc etc. DONT APPLY. Preying on a bad market with Linked In showing over 100 applied on that site alone. Shame.
