They were my first agent when I went contracting back in the 90s. They were making a monster commission from me (and pretending otherwise)

I dealt with them about 4 years ago and they were crap then, not heard much from then since, nor do I want to....

I had dealings with them a couple of years ago, and would never go near them again.

The last I spoke to the agent, the client definitely wanted to interview me at 10.30 two days later. I suggested that 9am would be better for me, so I could get there, interview and back to work in half a day. He said that he'd confirm it with the client and let me know what time the interview was.

That was 26 months ago - I'm guessing that 9am wasn't good for them!

Don't think so. Not sure who the client is, only that it's a financial.

Cheers. They're the only ones advertising the contract, so I guess there's no harm in giving them a call & getting their position on contracts, etc.

Had a friend who was about to take a contract with them years ago. But they would only hand over VAT money when it was due to be paid to customs and excise. They would not change so my m8 walked.

These days I hear more good reports than bad reports about them.

They have been around for years, used to be very big during the Y2K period but don't see them as much anymore
Their service quality seems to go up and down by all reports

I've worked for them a couple of times over the years. I agree that they used to be bad, but I have never had an issue with them. Paid on time and very helpful.

I'd have no problems working for them again.

They are apparently on some of the bad lists, but I did some ad-hoc work for them last year - no issues - apart from VAT at the start - which I put down to my inexperience with a limited company!
