haedware resale
Janek,
depends to some extent on what sort of products and what market (sector and company size)
For bog standard stuff you just get accounts with a couple of distributors - computer 2000, midwich, etc. There are specialists like maverick, wickhill etc for particular market sectors.
start getting the var, microscope and cts (computer trade shopper) for details of products and resellers.
Very few companies will deal with you direct, their sales channel will be though a distribution network - best you can hope for is to plug in with a decent distie.
you can get better prices by signing up to particular mfr schemes and getting certified.
Lots depends on what you want to deal with.
I dont resell much but I do maintain accounts with a couple of disties for various items, digital cameras etc. Bear in mind that most pc type stuff is as cheap from the likes of scan / aria as it is from the disties, because they work in sufficient volumes.

Hardware Reseller questions?
Hi,
Does anyone know the best way to go about selling hardware to third parties and obtaining that hardware at a discount from suppliers?
Is there a general discount that suppliers give or is it all down to haggle and negotiation?
What about returning faulty goods from your customers to your original suppliers? Is there anywhere online that provides this kind of info or does anyone here have any views/thoughts?
Thanks,
