Mind you years ago I did get offered £20 for being on call. Which was about 1/2 hours pay if I remember correctly. But worse of all was they only paid when you got to site if called and not travelling time (and I lived more than an hour away). Buggered if I was going to do a round trip of 2.5 hours and get half hour pay for).

Probably crappiest offer I've ever had.
1/2 day TOIL for one week on call.
Know permies get more than 1/2 days pay for weeks on call. If permies got the same % then they'd probably get £70 for the week.Tags: None
