    It was not a mistake, they are trying it on. It is normal Common practice for agencies to behave this way.

    I just left it at that - didn't want to kick up more of a fuss when I was getting the money (eventually) anyway...can't see the point in annoying someone who can potentially get you work.

    The agent should be paying the factoring company with thier cut, not forcing you to pay it on top of thier cut!!!

    What does your contract say.

    What is your agreed rate, does it say anything about paying this other company.

    I'd say this isnt very common and is just a sub arm of the pimp trying to get more money out of you.

    Go play merry hell up and see what they say.

    Got a contract via an agency - they have another company draw up the contract / settle the invoices as they come in.

    Just had the first one settled - and its shy of just short of £100 - a management charge levied by the agency's contract handling company.

    I may be a bit naive but is it not the pimp who should be taking this charge on the chin ???

    Is this common ??
