Same thing happened to me (repeatedly) with a UK-based agency. I had to send strongly worded emails to the agency each time the screwed up.

I've had similar with two agencies but they were uk based, sorted one out myself and told the agency with 3 days to go, they didn't have a clue.

Working at Client, Client v-happy with me, been told I am 'essential to the programme'

My contract ended today, been asking the agency for 3 months now if an extension is in hand, it wasn't. Cue last minute panic today from the client, been told to stay away from site Monday till extension sorted Monday PM.

All because Agency is ran like the Keystone Cops.... And they couldn't organise a the preverbial drink in a brewery.

Agency is one of the Indian Outsourcers, so sadly not a surprise.
