Hey, this is the serious board (apparently).
Lucy, don't sweat the nutter, you get the odd one everywhere but you will be unlucky to find yourself in that situation again. Keep a degree of separation from the people around, they only find out what you choose to tell them, this is one of the things I like, you get a clean slate with a new job.
As for liking the work - that is a bonus, if I like the money, I can live with the rest. If it gets terrible, you can always go sick/negotiate a finish etc, it's not forced labour.
