Indeed. The NHS is ineffective in many ways, as shown in my links above, but as the primary almost monopolistic payer in the UK it has a powerful downward effect on drug prices.
The Yanks aren't going to stand for that in any trade deal.
The gammon won't know what's hit them.
And they thoroughly deserve all the pain (literal and financial) that's coming their way.

Well if something good comes of Brexit, it may well be the dismantling of the NHS and its replacement by a fit-for-purpose insurance-based scheme.
