What I find most laughable about this is that a third of the UK population has taken a recreational drug in the past and a 5th take them on a regular basis - (British drugs survey 2014: drug use is rising in the UK – but we're not addicted | Society | The Guardian)
So actually that would tell me that most of the MP's in sitting currently have taken at some point some form of recreational drug.
And so when you listen to them condemning someone for taking drugs all you really see is what amounts to a bunch of spoiled hypocrites trying to get someone they do not like told off by the teacher.
This sort of petty, back stabbing behaviour does not set a good example and actually is not the sort of behaviour you want from people who are supposed to be responsible for the future of the country.

“The move, which will cost an estimated £9.6billion a year, will save people thousands of pounds on their tax bill. It will be funded from the £26.6billion of "fiscal headroom" that is currently set aside by the Treasury for no-deal preparations.”
He goes for no-deal but wants to use money set aside for the prep for it
Well, at least it’s more realistic than Toady’s fantasy “scrap VAT” plan, obviously the above will be funded by increased taxes

“I don’t believe that I’ve ever on any occasion failed to tell the truth about this when asked directly,” he said, when asked if he declared his past drug use to US authorities. The Electronic System for Travel Authorisation visa waiver form for entry into the US asks: “Have you ever violated any law related to possessing, using or distributing illegal drugs?”
A spokesman later said Gove had taken legal advice from a QC who is “satisfied that Michael completed his forms correctly”.”
He had a QC opinion, that’s awright then...
... why wasn’t it US immigration lawyer?
Did he tell QC that he was in possession of class A drug and used it ?

“The cabinet minister also said no one had ever asked him about drug use when he took office.”
