"Accounts" has a particular meaning in the context of companies house/HMRC returns, and your Landlord won't care about that. Contract / bank statement / draw up a balance sheet in a spreadsheet if you don't already have one.

It entirely depends on how much work would be involved, and the fee could vary greatly between a local accountant and a specialist accountant.

Do you have an accountant already? You may well find that if you're on a Monthly service then reference letters are included in the fee.

  • I need proof of income for landlord & I have recently started contracting

Is there a quick and cheap way ( I don't earn that much ) that I can show my earnings in a way that my landlord will accept?

He has asked for accounts - how simply & cheaply could I get an accountant to do this?

    I really appreciate any help

    Thanks
