What about if I'm in a flat rate VAT scheme, which is sales based?Originally posted by stek View PostDon't add vat, quote agents VAT number on invoice and add a conversion to Sterling if in Euros.
Also make sure you've subscribed to the EC Sales List on HMRC Gov Gateway as you need to declare it on there. Bear in mind the quarters on that are Jan-Mar etc, not whatever your ltds might be.
Zimples!

Germany and VAT
Currently working in Germany, through a German agency, for a German company.
The contract is between the German agency and my English, VAT registered Ltd Company.
The agencies online timesheet system won't let me add VAT to my invoice. I queried this. They are telling me I don't need to charge VAT.
As I am VAT registered, I do, Shirley?
My contract states an hourly rate, in euros, plus VAT.
Any help greatly appreciated.
