It's not compulsory, but your accountant should be able to provide them easily enough if you ask for them.
As Jamesbrown says above, dividend vouchers are a necessity though. Make sure you keep original signed copies on file.

Wage slips are not compulsory AFAIK (perhaps for PAYE employees), but sensible for the purposes of record keeping, as proof of income/expenditure. Some accountants provide them, others don't. Dividend paperwork is compulsory though.

I use Nixon Williams and they issue a payslip for my salary payments. I thought it was a legal requirement but I may be mistaken on that.
