Recommendations On Solicitors That Deal With Property Disputes

1) Extend my lease
2) Dispute a 7K service charge which I think is totally excessive
3) Evict the current tennants

1. I had this done last year. The solicitor cost me £350 any can do it as they are re-doing searches and making sure its all correct. The surveyor is your key part to this - there are 2 methods to get to the extension valuation. I went with the one without the need of a solicitor, the surveyor advised me of the valuation which is done by the 'marriage value calculation' which was 23k he said offer 18k the landlord may accept it - its not worth the challenge in court. they accepted. BUT I had requested the valuation 18 months prior to this but never got around to it...the valuation was 11k then - how I kicked myself. Get it done ASAP if your in the late 60's - low 60's it starts to rocket.

2. I would cough up - landlord wins all draws - or they can make things really difficult or a long session in tribunal - years.

3. I heard this can be a nightmare. I heard also the most effective way is to go around with 1000 quid in your hand and tell 'em its theirs if they eff off now with all their crap - in the politest manner possible - oh and a new lock. I know someone who got a solicitor, he's in for 4k already and 9 months of no rent and mortgage to pay.

Does anyone on here know of a good solicitor that deals with property disputes.

I have quite a few things going on at the moment and need to find a decent reliable conveyancing solicitor

I need to :
