Vodafone Refused my Co Credit

I'd love to but I only get Vodafone reception at home, which is where I'm likely to be when customer calls for support.

Have a look at using UMA with Orange. Might help to have another option.

I thought that credit agencies had to provide you with the data they hold on you for £2? Or is that just for individuals?

Have you tried talking to the Transfer of Ownership team at Vodafone to find out why they won't give your company credit?

Nah, that would be too easy. I think the original poster would rather come on here moaning about and expecting advice from people who have no idea about what the full circumstances are.

When I first set up my business, O2 would only open a business account if I paid a deposit. The deposit was reasonable, and credited to my account after 6 months.

I've also transferred my Vodafone personal phone to the MyCo without too much trouble. Filled the forms in and faxed them off. After a week or so it got transferred over.

I'd only being trading for a couple of months when I did the transfer.

Then unfortunately if you can't port your number vodafone can hold you to ransom.

BTW This is more expensive but have you looked at getting another number which you can forward to your landline or mobile phone?

I recently transferred my personal contract to Myco with Vodafone and had no problems. My co has only been trading since April last year too. I dont know why they may block it with you? How long have you had your personal contract with them? I wonder if that has anything to do with it?

Leave and take your number with you. I setup a business account with T-Mobile after a year of trading, and ported my number over from a 3 personal number with no problem.

I've been trading since 2002. They refused the transfer from a personal account to a company account.

Leave and take your number with you. I setup a business account with T-Mobile after a year of trading, and ported my number over from a 3 personal number with no problem.

Have you not been trading long? Some suppliers are more wary of new start-ups because of the whole limited liability aspect of a company.

Can you get a contract in your personal name, then get it transferred into the company name?
