I was just a little worried because the Emails I have, are only me chasing the renewal with responses that it has to be chased internally, so nothing specific with dates etc.

What I have is a ticket raised in the change management tool which has been approved by both parties now the agency is setting up the PO for over 2 weeks.
I would chase it again - just send an email asking for confirmation of the the end date, or whether they are adopting a rolling contract.

I don't work without paperwork, but that's because I like to ensure that we all know exactly what to expect.

That said, I haven't had a signed copy of the contract back for this gig. Better chase it, I suppose....

I'd say probably not a worry.

Assuming the email exchange includes mention of extending the existing contract on some basis (either a fixed period or rolling until notified otherwise) then it's reasonable to state that the contract is in force. Submitted and signed timesheets strengthens that case.
It's not always necessary to exchange bits of signed paper although it's a good idea to do so.

    Waiting for contract renewal

    Hi

I am now waiting for a few weeks for my contract to be renewed. I am working on client site and all I have got are some confirmed emails of the renewal and signed weekly time-sheets. I work per day basis.

As the time-sheet are being signed weekly do I have to fear about not getting paid?
Working...
