I've got one of those. My P35 doesn't match the payments. What is annoying is, yes, there is a shortfall of about £100. But according to them it's £600, which means I now have to prove all the other payments which is just more bloody hassle.

Your accountant should be able to submit an amended P35 without any hassle. If there is any tax and NI to still pay, it may be worthwhile getting them to explain to HMRC why an amended P35 is going to be submitted and any outstanding tax and NI due will be paid asap. Good luck

  • NIC & PAYE demand from inland revenue for 2009/2010

Gawd it's been a bad week!!

I've just had a demand for non-payment from HRMC for the above period

To cut a long story short, I wasn't drawing a salary from the company at the start of that tax year (09-10) and in September of that year I was diagnosed with cancer and wasn't able to work from August 2009 until June 2010

In the meantime I got a P35 with my projected salary from my account, and my mind wasn't really focused on all things work related and I just signed it and sent it off

I can't get hold of my accountant at the moment and was just wondering is it possible to get the P35 re-submitted?

    Thanks
