Contracting in Hong Kong

Hi All
Has anyone contracted in Hong Kong, or have any information on tax over there ? From what i have seen , tax rates are about 17% on the higher bracket, but the agent trying to convince me to take the job is saying i would only end up paying 1 or 2% tax over there! so i am trying to find out information but cant see anything that supportes his argument!

Any information would be welcome
