One of the conditions of ESC C16 is that details of the final capital distribution are notified to HMRC. At that point they may choose to ask more questions. Rarely seen though.

Your thread appears to have fallen into an inappropriate section of the forum, in the Accounting/Legal section you might get an answer from an accountant.
My accountant put all the Entrepreneurs' relief calculations onto the tax return for the year that I received that capital gain.
What I don't know is whether they did anything else. If they did I didn't see it.

no, not really. If HMRC have approved the concession, then unlikely to be challenged.

Applying for Entreprenuers' Relief in your personal tax return
Hi there
I am preparing my personal tax return which will include a capital gain from the wind up of my prior contracting company. I have received my ESC C16 approval from the HMRC and wish to apply for entrepreneurs’ relief. I was wondering whether any documentation (other than the tax return and supplementary pages provided by the HMRC) needs to be filed with the return to support the claim e.g. final accounts, application to have the company struck off etc.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
