Do a bit of research here and other places, and/or give an accountant a call. There are lots of specialists out there, some of them post on this board. At least then you can ask questions specific to your circumstances, and they may do you an income example to put it into perspective.

Great thanks for the speedy replies my next question is where do I find an accountant?
Is it better to get a local accountant out of the yellow pages or ate there accountants that specialise in this ?

Welcome to the forum
As a general rule always try seaching the site before posting a question as it's almost certain it's been answered atleast once before.
If you do have any further questions try and show you've atleast attempted research
rather than expecting those who have learned by making mistakes to give you their years of hard earned knowledge for freei.e "i've searched and found that based on earnings of xxx p/day and expenses of yyyy that I can expect to take home zzz based on dividends of ###, is this correct?"
it happens a lot and becomes quite annoying and repetitive.i.e "how much can i expect to take home if I earn xxx p/day
Also, there's a few on here who believe sarcasm is the only form of communication and other's who simply spout rubbish but if you take that with a pinch of salt and grow a thick skin you'll fit right in.
Finally, come on over to General section and say hello, they may even throw you a party, and once again welcome..
