Previously on "Forming a UK Ltd. when resident abroad"
I'll be doing most of the work from my home office in Denmark, and travel to the UK just to meet face-to-face with clients and to gather the initial specs for the job.
This can't be the first time somebody has done this, so I'm just curious as to how others have registered themselves.
/Michael
Your registered address has to be a proper bricks and mortar address in the UK (i.e. no PO boxes) which you have done with your accountant's address.
Your trading address can be whatever you like AFAIR.
Whats the purpose of the company? is it simply to make trade in the UK easier, whilst all the actual work will be done in Denmark by yourself as a sole trader?

How about registering the company to your Accountant's address? However, I don't know if a non-uk resident is allowed to "own" a Ltd Company in the UK, regardless of where the company is addressed to.
Companies House website knows. There is no problem in that.
The OP also knows:
I am thinking of forming a UK Limited Company, where my registered address will be my UK accountants address.
His question was not about non-UK residence nor about registered address, it was:
I'm unsure as to what I should enter as my trading address
....
Do I use my danish home address as my trading address, or can I use a UK Postbox address?
I'm an ex-pat resident in Denmark and am currently working as a IT Consultant (VAT registered sole trader) mainly in Sweden and Denmark. I have potential customers in the UK.
I am thinking of forming a UK Limited Company, where my registered address will be my UK accountants address. I'm unsure as to what I should enter as my trading address. I do all my technical work from home (receiving support calls), and am occasionly on-site with the customer.
Do I use my danish home address as my trading address, or can I use a UK Postbox address?
Any input would be appreciated.

A UK ltd company is just a legal entity. I'd guess that perhaps only about 20% of the companies listed with companies house as "active" actually do any trade or behave anywhere close to what is traditionally thought of as a company.

Where do you have to enter your trading address? Not on the Companies House form AFAIR.
