    Nearly right. You have to have "written policies" if five or more people work there (including yourself) but that doesn't preclude you from having known policies.

    All the stuff you need to browse through for safety is on the HSE website, handily on the front page.

    You can find similar on the Envioronment Agency site, but it's hidden a little more deeply.

    Check out the BSI site for anything quality related and google searches should give you something simple you can copy and paste. Equal opportunities also.

    Where can i find templates / guidance on HSE, Quality, Equal opps and environmental polices?

    HSE may well not affect us as there are only 4 (I believe the requirement is 5employees).
