I have recently switched to watermill Accounting. Very much satisfied with their service provide there online software, easy to reach.
£50 per month

With Blevins you can use your own software or you can get a freeagentcentral account as part of the package. I have that, it works quite well.

I've used SJD Accountancy and can say they were excellent.
Always easy to get a hold of, replied in a punctual manner, and always were willing to help. Very knowledgeable staff as well.

If I had a query that they weren't sure of they would reply back, "we're not quite sure, but bear with us - we'll get back to you by the end of the day'.
And they always did.

Spreadsheet you use for bookeeping is a piece of piss, and they have email/txt alerts to inform you of when you have a payment due.

Very good service.
Price was around £115 p/m inc VAT?
Can't remember excatly, but something like that.

I'm amazed you've had a problem. I have Phil on skype, he even spent half an hour going over stuff with me and it was only at the end I found he was not only on holiday but it was his Birthday too!

I've even been to their London office and had half an hour impromptu discussion on VAT and expenses.

I am, so far, a very satisfied customer.

I know the emails i have recieved from him in the past detail many ways to contact him email, social networking, linkdin etc.

I find it hard to believe that you have not had a reply for weeks!

I am with them for my LTD but haven't been able to get hold of them by email or phone for a couple of weeks. At the end of the tax year, this is quite worrying.

So I guess the next question is....can anybody recommend a good accountant? and is it an easy task moving from one to another.
