Coooo-eeee since we've gone all commercial and are now obviously allowed to punt our wares on CU can I recommend a service that I use? These guys are grrrreat and are in no way related to me in any way:Originally posted by Nixon Williams View PostYes, take a look at our website but it covers all the accountancy services you would require including references etc.

Sval-Baards little shop of SAP consultancy services and various other things. We can't guarantee to do your year end taxes but we know SAP like... like... errr... the back of our hands.
So remember kids... Sval-Baards little shop of SAP consultancy services and various other things. We're easy, but we're not cheap*!!!
* - Sval-Baards little shop of SAP consultancy services and various other things are really really easy but really really not that cheap. They do deliver though and do all of their own accounts so they don't have to deal with useless fu**ing bean counters.

Suggest you talk to them about this - they will happily take your regular information in any form you want, but you will of course pay more for the privilege. The spreadsheet is just their standard offering.Originally posted by trsisko View Postblast I am no good with sums, why the heck do I have to fill in this spread sheet when I pay them 75pounds a month, I have no idea how to fill in the spreadsheet
sales invoice
bank receipts
bank payments
expenses etc etc

Don't you want to know how well you are doing? how much tax you should be provisioning? what tax planning you need to do? You need to do a little book-keeping just so you know where you are. Its going to take you, what, 20 mins a week? The accountant can then spend the allocated £75 per month worth of time making sure you are paying the minimum legal amount of tax etc etc.Originally posted by trsisko View Postblast I am no good with sums, why the heck do I have to fill in this spread sheet when I pay them 75pounds a month, I have no idea how to fill in the spreadsheet

Jeez!
Sales invoice - The amount you bill the Agent/Client
bank receipts - The amounts entering your company bank account
bank payments - The amounts going out of your company bank account
expenses - The amount you are claiming for food and travel
Rocket science eh?
How the hell do you manage to hold down a contract if you can't even fill in a simple spreadsheet?

Go back to being a permie. If you can't do something as basic as this you really shouldn't be running your own business....Originally posted by trsisko View Postblast I am no good with sums, why the heck do I have to fill in this spread sheet when I pay them 75pounds a month, I have no idea how to fill in the spreadsheet
