    Correct. The CGT allowance is a personal allowance, nothing to do with the company.

    When closing a limited company with 2 shareholders. If the remainder of the profit is taken under ESC C16 as a capital gain, i guess each shareholder gets their personal allowance of £9,600 rather than just one lot allocated to the company?
