QDOS used to be with the PCG but were later replaced by Abbey Tax . No idea why, I have always found QDOS to be the more helpful of the two.

Considering that the PI from qdos was cheaper than the others (with the same cover) this is great news.
I just hope I never have to need those services! But nice to know I have cover (and I belong to the PCG too).
Many thanks

I got PI insurance with qdos - so think I am a freelance club member automatically. Is that correct?Originally posted by Qdos Consulting View PostYou get free access to our legal helpline if you're a Freelance Club member. Of course, if any detailed work is necessary our lawyers would need to charge but most clause-related queries can be clarified with a phone call/email.

This is interesting.Originally posted by Qdos ConsultingNo, nothing to do with the PCG. The Freelance Club is an annual membership that various benefits to contractors. Most use it for the 3 IR35 contract assessments. You get it free with any insurance policy, but it can be purchased separately for £40.

If it's a standard IT contracting clause, then see what B&C or Qdos can make of it in a contract review. Can't believe that it's going to be more than egos.
