This is the way I work and I don't think it makes any difference.Originally posted by maxima View Posthow IR35 status can be affected if contract for a consultancy which takes contracts from others. As I understand what they do - they take jobs from banks and then hire people on contract to do it and get share in payment.
Is it somehow better/worse than normal schema when contractor is hired through agency?
I think the difference is that consultancy can get a whole project or a big part of a project and create one or more contract jobs. However agent can do only one-to-one basis.
But not sure how it is looked from IR35 prospective.
Any ideas?
Thank you
In this scenario, the consultancy is simply acting as an employment business so are like any other agency.
