    I would seek specialist advice. Due to recent changes in the law some CI no longer levy corporation tax for both non CI trading and CI trading companies. I believe Guernsey is a case in point.

    The interaction of the DTA between CI and UK may be able to be advantageous. You do really need a specialist.

    I use montpelier - an offshore company. they are not for everyone - but as you are offshore anyway it make make sense in your case.

    I am about to take up a contract position in the Channels Islands and was wondering what the most tax efficient solution/options open to me.

    Would it be better using my Ltd Company or working thru an umbrella company?
