    I am opted out I'm afraid. Up to now I didn't think it made that much difference, oh well...

    He means that the amount the agency will charge the client "is not your problem".

    Are you currently opted in or out. This will make a little differance. If you are opt in the you can work again at the clients after 6 weeks I think. Not sure if they can but somthing in the client agency contract to stop this but if not just take a 6 week holiday and then start at the clients. I would also ask for more money due to them not having the pay the agency anything. I think the above info is correct sorry if I have got it worng.

    Going Permanent with Client/Agency Issues?

    The place where I am contracting right now is looking for permanent staff and have asked me to put my CV forward.

    As a contractor I'm wondering what the issues are wrt to the agency. Looking at the contract it talks about not providing services to the client for a period of 4 months after the contract is finished without the consent of the agency. It also talks about paying financial losses to the agency if this happens.

    I'm thinking the agency are going to want compensation before they agree to this, any one know how much?
