Its already registered in Scotland and you can't transfer a company from Scotland to England&Wales.

Any good reason for having it in Scotland.? Are there any legal differences between a Scottish Ltd and an English (or Welsh) one.?

If your accountant is based in Scotland then they should be able to offer a registered office service, failing that you could approach a family member or there are formation agents in Scotland that will do this for you.Originally posted by Langkawi View PostHi,
I currently have a Ltd Co registered in Scotland. I recently accepted a contract in London.
I'll be living and working in London for about 12 months but don't want to close my Ltd down and open another. However I cannot register a Scottish Ltd at an address outside Scotland.
I'm thinking that a Nominee service is probably the way to go. Can anyone reccomend a provider of Nominee services for Scottish Ltds?
Or does anyone have an other thoughts on a way round this situ?
Many Thanks,
Alan

Are you saying that the registered office of a Scottish company must be in Scotland. In which case you bank or accountant or solicitor will probably be able to accommodate you.
