This is on your balance sheet

Called Up Share Capital Not Paid £1
    Other Assets £1,000
    Work In Progress £2,000
    Cash In Bank £20,000

Creditors with repayment due within one year ( tax etc.) £5,000

Total assets less current liabilities £18,001

    Then your Capital:

    Called Up Share Capital £1
    Retained Earnings £17,750
    Shareholder's Equity £17,751

    Longterm Liabilities
    Director's Loan Account £250
Long-term Liabilities and Shareholders' Equity £18,001

So the share capital balances out the debt.

So that £1 share issued didn't create any money from thin air.....

Share capital not paid - debtor?

Sorry if this sounds dumb, but here goes....

I have just 1 share in my business priced at £1 which I have not officially purchased (I haven't paid the money into my business account) I'd like to know if this would be classed as a debtor on my abbreviated annual accounts to Companies House? Thanks folks.

Working...
