Watched "28 Weeks Later" at the weekend. Then read in the leaflet "you are advised to stock up now - see next page for suggested items - remember to keep your home and emergency supplies secure, especially during a pandemic, as shortages could lead to increased crime"

My end client (one of the largest global banks) has placed a rather scarey leaflet about a flu pandemic on all our desks, advising us to stock up on food, water, medicines etc.. as a precaution.

They are offering all permanent members of staff 2 courses of Tamiflu for free and up to 20 family members can purchase it from the same place.

So can my Ltd purchase Tamiflu for me as an expense? Is there any benefit in kind to pay, what about courses for my family?

Permies here were told that flu jabs were not a BIk as they are available on NHS it is just available at the workplace to save them the hassle of visiting their GP. Tamiflu is a different KoF.

it's BIK - same as personal sickness insurance.

There is no mention of that in the booklet for permies here, which is why I asked. Maybe they just don't tell them?! It just says it is free.

I am pretty sure they can get free flu jabs as well.
