    You say that, but there's the flat 5% expenses saving that umbrellas dont pass on which puts you ahead of the game already, likewise the flat rate vat scheme and my accountants fee's are less than the "admin" fees I would pay at the brollies that I looked at.

    Naturally I'm doing my best to try and ensure this contract does not catch me for IR35 but if the worst comes to the worst I'm still happier running through my company since it means I'm in control of my own financial affairs etc and I'm still at least 5% up on a brolly...

    I've not long started my own ltd co and a new contract. I am concerned that the contract is very borderline as regards IR35...

    I was wondering how many people on here that run their own ltd company still pay tax under IR35.

    Thought a poll on the subject might be interesting...
