I did! I set up the LLP on the advice of an accountant and I'm getting conflicting responses from other accountants on running it as an LLP vs as Limited company.

    Consulting & LLPs

I'm attempting to start my own operations bidding farewell to an umbrella company I was with so far. I was advised to set up an LLP instead of a Limited company and that's what I did. I have since been questioned on this numerous times and been advised to close down the LLP and start another Limited company but haven't got any strong reasons why I should not operate as an LLP. I've heard that IR-35 does not apply to an LLP.

Any advice for or against an LLP before I go through closing the LLP and starting a Limited company.
