Travel expenses
Hi All,
Thanks for your comments on K&B. As yet I ahv ehad no trouble talking to people there, but as I have only just started with them I'm sure I have that all to come.
To be honest, I am slightly nervous about their suggestions that I can claim a whole lot of subsistence allowance without any receipts, so I don't think I am going to do this, but my hourly rate has gone up by moving to an umbrella company, which more than covers there fees, so I'm still better off. I'll give it a couple of months to see how things go, and if they are crap I'll come and talk nicely to some of you guys!
One last question before I get out of your hair, I travel about 120miles a day, altogether, to and from work, so can I claim this as an expense? I think someone said I could claim 40p a mile for the first 10000, then 25p a mile.
Thanks a lot for all your help!Tags: None
