    thanks Rhino & Robot.

I suppose if HM C&E want to raid you they will raid your house regardless if Ltd registered there or not.

In practice most contractors seem to use their home address as the business address but failing that your accountant may be prepared to act as the company address for you.

HM Customs and Excise don't like ‘care of addresses’, they like to send correspondence to a 'business address' which can be different from the registered office address.

    Registered company address

    Guys,

What are the implications of registering company address at the same place where you live? I know there are rules regarding having company sign (according to PCG freelancer manual this does not appear to be enforced), there are possible implications regarding morgage/rent contracts... however could there be something more - like the VAT men can raid your house since this is where the firm is located?

As I understand the option is to pay one of those firms where your company will technically be registered with all mail forwarded to your other address. What do you guys do?

Working...
