Interesting question.
Company I work for is going through a "Standardisation" process meaning staff will either be identified with roles to move into and unidentifient which mean they have to apply for roles as their current position has disappeared.
One of my colleagues has just got his letter informing him that he has has been identified into a role.
Subsequently, he has been verbally informed by one of the senior management that this was an error and he is unidentified.
Given the fact that he has a letter saying he was identifient and now he has been told he was not, where does he stand legally.
