If I remember rightly its a guaranteed fine of £3000 for that if audited plus you can't defend you r position if they start to suggest things aren't in order.

What is the legal requirement for keeping files, paperwork, documents, etc. from a tax point of view - is it 6 years from the end of the particular financial year the documents refer to?
