Of course. But not tax free, counts as salary so what's the point? Only slight advantage, if you need to pay salary, is that a director's bonus can be paid up to end of Jan following the April year end, so you could hang on to the tax a bit longer.

If you mean is there some tax fiddle you can use that becomes available after you have been in business a certain length of time then the answer is no.
