    Takes a few days to get the authorisation code through the post though. Oh and the website takes evenings and weekends off.

    I did my first one the other day, and the only extra information I had to put in was the share capital. All the details of directors and secretary were there.

    My accountant sends me a hard copy to sign and post. You save a few quid if you do it yourself online, takes a few minutes.

    The Companies House fee for this is £15 so they are adding some on for doing it for you. It is quite simple to do. The first one will take a bit longer as you have to enter all the details but after that you just need to confirm the information and pay your fee.

    The details are info on the director(s), company secretary, shareholders and registered office etc.

    They are offering me an automated online service to do this for around £25+VAT
