The structure you are working through (i.e Ltd Co.) is not directly relevant to visa requirements.
You defo need a work permit to work in Holland, and if you are there for 3 months+ you will also need a temp residents permit. Normally you need a Dutch company to sponsor the work-permit, although I am not sure if non-Dutch companies are able to do this.

Guest repliedSurely you would be allowed to be in the Netherlands "conducting business on behalf of" a UK registered Limited company?

Guest repliedIt's www.ind.homeoffice.gov.uk - but be warned that it appears to be served over a 56K modem line. :\

Guest repliedHaving indefinite leave to remain does not automagically qualify one for a British passport. Certain other criteria has to be met first. Length of time in the country is usually the first hurdle.
It's all there on the IND website - just don't try to call them unless you absolutely have to: their idea of a short hold queue is four hours. Took me 3 weeks of daily calling to get one piece of information sorted out.

Guest repliedSo if you have indefinate leave to remain in Blighty why have you not applied for a Blighty passport?
Once you have one of those you can work anywhere in the EU :rollin

Guest repliedEven with the "Certificate of Entitlement to the Right of Abode" in my Strine passport I would have had to obtain a work visa to work anywhere in the EU outside the UK. Or wait 5 years until I'd been here long enough to qualify for a pretty maroon passport ( 'course Liebour changing the laws so that children of British mothers are eligible for a British passport made that happen much sooner than expected). I should think that this is the situation you're in.
Try checking with the website of the Dutch Embassy in Oz. And this page outlines the work permit requirements.

Guest repliedI'm pretty sure you'd need to apply for a work permit. I've no idea what that entails though. There are various agreements with the USA, Ausralia & New Zealand though, so there might not be too much red tape.
