I wonder if there's any mileage in sending them an Inland Revenue style "late payment" reminder notice. :rollin

It gete credited to your PAYE account in lumps as you file over next 5 years. You can then underpay to use the credit. There is also a mechanism to request repayment of it by cheque.

There a load of bump on the IR website but I cant find anything now it's reorganised.

How do we claim this £825 (or £250)?

Simply take it off a future payment?

Thanks for that, my accountant has just anounced she's charging. I asked them a few months ago, no mention of it!

    I now have

    Confirmation of submission

Two reminders to post in my forms or get £100 fine. They no longer even put on the form the number to ring up and winge.

I wait the joining of the IR's left and right hand with interest. Presumably they'll just send me the penalty again and I'll have to sort out their mess for them.

If you are filing online yourself you want to get the corrected one PDQ - I saw errors on the site about 9:30 last night (mentioned in the guide) - it will crash for sure in the last couple of days and you face £100 penalty per month for late filing or loss of the rebate if you resort to posting the stuff in.
