    As long as your registration was still active then any invoices that you raised for standard rates services should have had VAT added.

    The agency's that you have invoiced should have no issue with you raising retrospective invoices for VAT only.

    FRS De-registration error

    I de-registered from the FRS scheme and was informed by HMRC there was nothing else required to do. The information was in fact incorrect.

    I was required to de-register to normal VAT which was never mentioned.

    I now have 3k in uncharged VAT to re-cover.

    HMRC state the companies owing the VAT have to pay as my registration was still live.

    Can I retrospectively raise a VAT invoice against two agencies and do the have to pay?
