    in my very limited wisdom in regards to accounting I believe % of CGT would depend on number of years you held to shares - there is an IR document that describes just that, look for CGT on IR site.

    If I built up a business worth 300k and then went on to sell that business for that amount what tax's would I be liable for?

    I am assuming CGT?
