SJD did mine for free back along.
FWIW, get a free account through CaterAllen first, operate for six months or so, then switch to one of the main players.
Its much easier to follow this route than trying to open an account at any other high street branch with no existing business account. (Takes forever, need loads of paperwork in my experience).

Not answering the OP's question, but we used to be Cater Allen introducers. However increasingly we found them finding ever more frustrating excuses to reject applications that we gave up.Originally posted by saptastic View PostContractorUK used to be an introducer but not any more from what I can see - but from previous threads many accountants also dropped out. Best call CA direct and ask them to direct you.
On the plus side though, when it comes to MVL Online's dealings with banks, Cater Allen are second only to Barclays in terms of swift turnaround.

Trying to find a Cater Allen account introducer and confirm what they can do.
I don't expect money to come into my account for another eight weeks or so, but I'd like to open the account now.
I understand with an introducer that would work well, as I wouldn't need the £5000 to open the reserve account, and wouldn't be charged if the account balance is below £5k for these eight weeks?

My advice would be to leave CK as soon as possible (I did) - I'd recommend a freeagent accountantOriginally posted by realaledrinker View PostI signed up with Churchill Knight for my accounting and got the Cater Allen account through them for free. No fees or minimum balance requirement.
