I did exactly that last year with the help of MVL Online,the service I received was excellent and the process run smoothly despite me being abroad at the time. Highly recommended.

In a word, "yes". Worth double checking the personal tax rules of the country you're moving to though, sanity check they won't want a big slice of the distributions.

Can I apply for MVL of a Ltd company (IT in financial services), and follow through the process, while resident in a different country?
Basically, if I work my last day on the contract, then permanently leave the UK with the company still open, and close the company with little/no hassle.
The whole procedure, to my knowledge, takes months, so is there an early point, ideally before MVL even starts, from which I don't have to be in the UK?
