Anyone any experience of applying for and obtaining one of the R&D grants that are available from the government? particulary this one:

I have an internal software project on the go at the moment, obviously I have funded the development to-date using company money. I am just about to start a new contract and so this will limit the amount of time that I can personally devote to it. What are the realistic odds of acquiring one of these R&D grants as an IT contractor so that I can use the grant to fund further development ??
The project itself is actually more than R&D, I already have all of the R&D that I need, I just need the time/money to get it off the ground.
