Dont take the hump, nothing personal. A number of new members have fallen into the trap of asking sensible questions in this forum.
You will soon realise that you have more chance of finding Lord Lucan riding Shergar than you do of getting a sensible answer here.
I wouldnt recommend pointing out the "rules" to the residents either as this will precipitate a diatribe of abuse of a "newbie telling us about OUR board" nature.
HTH.I am not qualified to give the above advice!

I appreciate the advice and apologies if indeed this is supposed to be a non-contracting forum... I was under the impression that was what "light relief" was for. clue's in the name.Originally posted by The Lone GunmanDont take the hump, nothing personal. Sorry to pollute the thread with a sensible answer, but there's one technique that has thrown up some useful results for me in the past. A lot of people now put their CVs on the web, so if you add 'vitae' to your google search you get a load of these returned. You can then see from this where they were working when they used that skill.
Ok, back to the abuse...Comment

or alternatively - search the newsgroups and see which companies are posting questions on the technology/language you're after...
