haha, yeah a lot of them are full of schmoozy 'matey' chat the whole time.
when refusing to budge on my absolute minimum today the guy KEPT going 'well what about if they turned round and offered x pounds a day...', to which i was like 'no really, that is my absolute minimum'... then twice more i got 'ok, well what about if they offered xx'.
i told him that i wasn't going to budge and that there was no point surmising what they might say until he speaks to them (knowing full well that he already knows their max and is just playing with margins)... grrrrr!
then i got the classic 'well, obviously it's in my interest to get as much as i can for you cos if you get more i get more'...
