Chappers on radio one was ringing people in the USA with what he condsidered odd names.
I nearly spat my coffee when he asked to speak to Anita Beaver.

I've just started working with a US guy called 'Ellick Butt' pronounced 'I-lick Butt' , what a name . I thought may be the guy picked it changed it on purpose but no thats his name.
I used to work with a Richard Head. It was my first IT job in Tech Support whenever he used to answer the phone with
"Hello Richard Head" there used to be either guffaws or silence for the first few seconds.
Terrible for the poor bloke as he was a nice guy, ex-army so I suppose he must have got hardened to it.
I went out tonight with for a drink with a few friends and my mate brought a work colleague along and her name was 'Charlie Purchase' lol not sure if her parents knew what they were doing at the time. Anyway I found it funny , anyone met people with odd names ?
