Winchester scheme trustee?

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, but can anyone tell me who the trustee is now for the Winchester scheme?

Also, is there no legislation covering the conduct of loan holders and how it is passed on? It seems insane that they can pass on a loan without providing any information to the borrower, and just ignore requests for information. That does seem like a legal loophole you could drive a bus through...

I hope I've shown that I've attempted to treat questions and queries coming through here in a fair and honest manner. I do so based on the assumption that most posters are genuine seekers of information and are able to use that to put their own situation into context and to find a strategy that they can live with.

I have not ever questioned the motives of posters nor implied that they might have commercial interests that are in conflict to the majority of those genuinely seeking information.

(Indeed to do so would be hypocritical given that I founded a firm that specialises in contractor tax enquiries. I've always been open about that and where appropriate asked people to bear the possible conflict in mind even when I've done my best to be objective).

In your case however, for the first time, I am wondering if there are motives in play beyond seeking information?

I am not sure and probably never will be.

I am however, until you can show me otherwise via declaring your identity in a manner I can verify, either here or via a PM or I'll give you my email, going to assume that the tone, content and direction of your posts implies rather more knowledge than you profess to have.

As such I will not be responding to any more of your posts until I have such proof.

Webberg made NO ATTEMPT to contact me before making this public accusation.

I am already in contact with the firm that Webberg sells services for, as I have stated on other topics, so I am surprised he has missed or chosen to ignore this.

Nowhere in his rather long message did he actually back up any of his accusations. He has not attempted to explain or justify what it is about the content or tone of what I have said that is in any way dodgy. It's just a vague slur that he's for some reason decided to throw at me.

I have not made many posts and they are all available to view from my account. I am very happy for people to read them and make their own judgements, and to PM me if they have questions. I will, however, respond strongly to bullies especially when they are using this forum to sell private services.

I am not happy to post my personal details on a public forum used by HMRC (and probably by THL, Baker Tilly etc) and I ask you to consider whether Webberg suggesting I should do this is in any way reasonable.

I will in the meantime say that my post above contains no hint of personal commentary and instead indicates that I have decided that in this instance I need more information before spending a lot of time answering some of the questions asked.

I have spoken with "Bemi" and we have had a discussion in which we have agreed on some things and not on others.

In particular I think he has a desire for information and I have imparted some of what I know.

I will therefore respond to reasonable questions subject to time and my understanding of the situation.

I am confused though. You claim I don't make effort myself, but I have shared what I have learnt with others. That seems like effort. In fact I got attacked for it by strangers I'd never met... You may remember it... You were one of them.

I also took the time and effort to write you PM in a sincere effort to open dialogue. You did not take the effort to reply to it. But I'm glad you found the time to think of another insult to throw at me.
